SquishCloud ("we", "us", "our") is a sensory wellness app designed to support stress relief and mindfulness. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data with care, transparency, and respect.

Account data: If you register, we collect your email address and display name only. We never collect sensitive personal data such as health records, payment details stored by us, or location data.

App usage data (stored locally): Your squeeze count, streak, badge progress, and breathing sessions are stored only in your browser's local storage on your device. This data never leaves your device unless you are signed in.

Signed-in users: If you create an account, your badge achievements are saved to our secure database so you can access them across devices.

No tracking: We do not use advertising trackers, third-party analytics, or sell data to any third party.

We will never use your data for profiling, advertising, or sell it to third parties.

Your data is protected using industry-standard encryption (TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest). Access to personal data is strictly limited to authorised systems. We do not store passwords — authentication is handled via secure token-based systems.

We perform regular security reviews and follow responsible disclosure practices.

Under UK and EU data protection law, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Rectify any inaccurate data
• Erase your data at any time (via Settings → Delete Account)
• Portability — request a copy of your data
• Object to processing at any time

We use only essential session cookies required for authentication. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. No cookie consent banner is required as we only use strictly necessary cookies.

SquishCloud is suitable for all ages and is designed to be a safe, calming experience. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without parental consent. If you believe a child has registered, contact us immediately and we will delete their data.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time via Settings → Delete Account. Local storage data is cleared when you clear your browser data.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify signed-in users of significant changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

A safe space for everyone. SquishCloud is designed to be a safe, calming, and inclusive app for all ages — including children, neurodivergent individuals, and anyone experiencing anxiety, grief, or feeling lost.

• No data tracking — your activity stays on your device
• Healthy screen time — a gentle timer encourages breaks after 15 minutes
• Real support — if someone feels really low, we connect them to Samaritans (116 123) and Childline (0800 1111)
• Transparent pricing — 99p trial, £3.99 lifetime. No subscriptions, no hidden fees

We are not a scam. Payments are processed securely by Stripe, and we never see your card details. What you see is what you pay — nothing more.
